Because of the rising number of COVID infections (and hospitalisations) in the community, the service of Choral Matins scheduled for this Thursday 6 January has been postponed. We will let people know of the new date once we are confident that the COVID infection rate is under control.

Services at St James’
Due to new Government physical distancing restrictions, Choral Evensong will no longer be live-streamed on Wednesday evenings. We apologise for any inconvenience and disappointment. The Choral Evensongs for 18 and 25 March will remain on our website (see Online Services) and on our Facebook page for you to re-watch. Information about the 10am service for Palm Sunday will be distributed as soon as it is finalised.
20 March 2020 Update: Message from Wardens
19 March 2020 Update: 22 March AGM postponed
At the 19 March Executive Meeting, the Acting Rector and Wardens agreed to postpone the AGM scheduled for this Sunday, 22 March, to a date to be determined. The current Parish Councillors, Wardens, Parish Nominators and Synod Representatives will remain as they are until the rescheduled AGM.

17 March 2020 Update: Weekday Holy Eucharist
In the interests of the health and wellbeing of our parishioners and clergy, until further notice we are suspending our weekday 12:30pm Holy Eucharists.
17 March 2020 Update: Concerts
The Wardens have unanimously agreed that all concerts at St James’ are to be suspended with immediate effect.
This suspension will last for a minimum of 4 weeks, at which time the situation will be reviewed.
We are all deeply saddened to have to disappoint our parishioners and audiences, however our first priority is the health and wellbeing of our parishioners, staff, volunteers, musicians, audiences, and our wider community.
This will effect all lunchtime concerts, Bach in the Dark, and ReVisions (28 March).
16 March 2020 Update
Christian Meditation has been cancelled until June (to be reviewed after Easter).
Hospital Visiting has been suspended until further notice.
The lunchtime concert on 18 March (NSW Police Band) has been cancelled.
